This work aims to analyze the curriculum matrix of physiotherapy courses at public universities in Brazil, focusing on disciplines that address topics related to occupational physiotherapy. The study is a documentary research based on primary sources. The analysis covered the names of the disciplines, workload hours, and associated thematic areas, highlighting significant heterogeneity among institutions regarding curriculum organization. Although training in occupational physiotherapy involves content such as ergonomics, prevention of occupational diseases, and rehabilitation, the distribution and depth of these topics vary considerably. The study also emphasizes the need to systematically integrate psychosocial risks into the curriculum matrix, expanding the physiotherapist's role in promoting mental and physical health in work environments. Such an approach is essential considering the new demands of the labor market, which require professionals capable of working in an interdisciplinary and preventive manner. The article proposes a research agenda aimed at strengthening the teaching of occupational physiotherapy, involving themes such as the effectiveness of training, pedagogical innovation, curricular integration, and the use of educational technologies. The findings provide initial insights to guide curriculum development and encourage academic policies that value occupational physiotherapy as a strategic area of professional practice.
